Feeling like a burden doesn’t always show up loudly.
Sometimes, it hides in hesitation. You say something, then instantly regret it—not because it was wrong,
but because it felt like too much. Too deep. Too honest.
And suddenly, your heart whispers: “You’re too much to love.”

The Weight of Feeling Like a Burden
I’ve felt it in sighs and pauses.
In the way people glance away when I speak truthfully.
They say, “You’re not a burden,” but something in their reaction makes me unsure.
So I shrink. I censor myself. I become easier to handle.
That’s what being too much for others can do—it teaches you to disappear a little to be accepted.
However, being real isn’t the same as being too much.
It means you’re honest. You’re brave.
And those who are truly meant for you will make space for your feelings.
You Deserve to Take Up Space
You don’t have to apologize for your emotions.
Even when they’re messy or inconvenient, they matter.
Your sadness isn’t too heavy. Your voice isn’t too loud.
Instead, your depth is part of your beauty.
If someone turns away, remember—it speaks to their limits, not your worth.
You are a full, feeling human being. You are allowed to take up space.
